September 29 2016, Asymptote will celebrate International Translation Day at Waterstones, Piccadilly, with a special evening focused on world literature and the UK publishing industry. Guests will include Deborah Smith (founder of Tilted Axis Press and co-winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize), Laura Barber (Publishing Director for Portobello Books), and Adam Freudenheim (Publisher & Managing Director of Pushkin Press). Chaired by Jonathan Ruppin, this event will include questions from readers worldwide. This event page can be found here
