Train with CPFC & Palace for Life Foundation Coaches
Crystal Palace Football Club are welcoming students from Overseas to study a 3-year degree in the UK at the University of Roehampton and also to play and train with CPFC.

London-based Premier League side Crystal Palace Football Club are welcoming students from the Overseas to study a three year degree at the University of Roehampton, alongside representing CPFC and Palace for Life Foundation (the club's official charity) in a National League and National Cup competition against other pro club's foundation sides.
Our UEFA-licensed coaches are highly qualified and will get the best out of players who are looking to take their game to the next level. Competing in the National Youth League, home games will be played at the new state-of the-art CPFC Academy.

Academic requirements
- Suitable high school qualification or other suitable qualification.
- Subject specific requirement may apply for some courses.
- Official transcript.
- Personal statement.
- At least one academic reference.
- Valid English language qualification (if applicable).

Football requirements
- Played football at a competitive level.
- Applicant will be expected to attend an interview with a Crystal Palace coach.

Academic
University of Roehampton undergraduate tuition fee: Year 1 £13,474 (2021/22)
The University offers a range of scholarships for Undergraduate (Bachelors) international students.

Football Programme
£6,000 per year

You will train three times per week on a 3G pitch located close to the University. Each player will be given an Individual Development Plan (IDP), which will include both team and individual gym sessions and will have the opportunity to work with a Crystal Palace Strength and Conditioning Coach in order to get into peak physical condition.
Students will also have the opportunity to pursue a coaching career of their own, with access to FA Level 1 coaching badges, as well as work experience, volunteering and employment opportunities with the football club and Foundation. There will be the chance to visit the home of Crystal Palace, Selhurst Park and the official Training Ground, to meet players.


Mounir Barka
Head Coach
Mounir is currently undertaking his UEFA A license. Currently on UEFA ‘A’ Course. Following his arrival to the UK after four successful years coaching in Morocco, Mounir started his career with Fulham FC Foundation as an Assistant Coach and worked his way up to become Lead Coach for Stevenage FC Academy U13s,, U23 Head Coach at Carshalton Athletic FC and Head Coach at The University of Roehampton.

Kevin Finnerty
Assistant Coach
Kevin has been coaching for over 20 years. He holds the Youth Award Level 3 as well as being a UEFA B licensed coach. Kevin has worked at multiple levels of the game, from grassroots, semi-pro and professional clubs. He is currently working as part of the coaching team with AFC Wimbledon Ladies 1st team and Carsharlton Athletic U23s. From 2013 to 2020, Kevin worked for the FA as a coach mentor having been part of the initial pilot scheme when the mentoring program was introduced into the UK. Kevin has now joined our team at Crystal Palace FC to work with our international students at University of Roehampton.

Tony Millar
Goalkeeping Coach
Tony has been in the game for two decades and is a UEFA B licensed coach. Tony has played a key role in the league and cup success of a wide range of teams including Chelsea FC Women and Fulham FC. Tony also coached the goalkeepers for the England six-aside National Team. Tony possesses a proven ability to engage with, motivate and improve players across all age groups having excelled in coaching teams from U8’s all the way through to senior level.

Enrico Montalvo
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Born in Kalamazoo, MI, EnRico completed a bachelor’s in Spanish & Exercise Science at Western Michigan University in 2018 before completing a masters in Sport & Exercise Physiology at the University of Roehampton in 2020. His hobbies include exercise, playing football, listening to music and cooking.
