My Roehampton journey so far

WOW! Where to start! My name is Kelly and I just started my first year in Psychology and Counselling. The last few months have been a whirlwind of nerves, craziness and excitement but now that I'm on my Christmas break, I'm able to take a step back and reflect on my journey so far.

Right from the start Roehampton has been really welcoming and accommodating. They stood out from all the other universities I had applied to as they gave me all the information I needed before I even realised I needed it!

As most people are, I was really anxious on day one. I knew no one but today I have a huge group of friends. The course itself has exceeded my expectations and I'm loving the whole counselling side of it. Our Social Psychology module is also really interesting thanks to our awesome lecturer, Dr Paul Dickerson!

The support I received on day one has continued throughout the term. There is always someone available to talk to if I have any problems and my tutor has helped me get the most out of my course. For that I am truly grateful.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again in the new year. And now for some mince pies! Happy Christmas folks!
