As Associate PVC (Academic Portfolio Development) Peter's role is to support the delivery of Roehampton's sustainability strategy, with a particular focus on the University’s academic portfolio in the context of the current and future Higher Education landscape.

Peter joined the University of Roehampton in 2013 as a Principal Lecturer in Primary Education, becoming Deputy Director in 2014. He took on the role of Director of the School of Education in September 2016. Peter started his career in retail banking, moving into computer system design in investment banking before a change of career to become a primary school teacher, becoming headteacher of a state Catholic primary school in 2011. Peter holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and a Master’s degree in Education Leadership. Peter is also a trustee of the Royal Academy of Dance.
