On our BA Politics, International Relations, and History degree, our priority is to ensure that you graduate with a professional skillset. This incorporates:

  • Analysing the interplay of global affairs in the past, present, and future.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of political systems, international relations, and their place in history.
  • Understanding how politics and international relations have unfolded throughout history is crucial for making an impact.

Learning

Experience a dynamic, contemporary curriculum while working with leading experts.

Working in both small groups and individually, you'll enjoy a mix of lectures and seminars as you progress through modules, including:

  • American History from Columbus to the Cold War
  • Cities and Empires
  • An Introduction to Political Studies and Skills
  • Comparative Government and Politics

In year 2, you will study the Applied Humanities: Professional Practice and Placement module, allowing you to apply your skills in hands-on experiences. In Year 3, you will engage in the new Humanities Project module, which supports projects across humanities disciplines.

Throughout the course, you'll be supported by a dedicated and passionate team of lecturers and sector professionals.
