International Year One in Business

Are you looking to study for a business degree but don’t quite have the right entry qualifications to gain direct entry into year one?

Intro

Our Business: International Year 1 course is the equivalent of the first year of a undergraduate degree.

The course will give you the extra academic support, as well as help to improve your English language abilities, so that you’ll be able to gain the skills to progress onto one of our business undergraduate courses.

If you don’t meet the initial entry requirements for a undergraduate degree, this course will help you gain the confidence to study for Level 4 in the UK.

How you'll be taught

Our Business: International Year 1 course will start in September and runs over two semesters:

September to December
January to April

The course is full-time, with 12 – 15 hours of learning (lectures, seminars and workshops) each week on campus.

You’ll be taught by dedicated specialist and international/English language tutors, who are passionate about what they teach in high-spec facilities.

You will study a combination of subject-specific business modules alongside academic business skills modules that will focus on teaching you the English language, study skills, employability and academic skills necessary to successfully pass the course.
