Director of Continuing Education
Charlotte oversees our school, including Foundation, Higher National Diploma courses and Short Courses.
You will see her in Grove House, working with the whole teaching and professional team within the school and around the campus, working with the wider University.
Charlotte has been teaching and leading University education for over 20 years and began her own studies with a Foundation Year, before becoming a Fashion Jeweller working with McQueen and running an Italian Fashion School in Spitalfields.
Charlotte just loves travelling the world, meeting creative people and visiting exciting global cities. She enjoys hosting parties and events and after living and loving Putney, she now lives on a boat in East London.
Head of Continuing Education
Leah is responsible for leading the foundation programme.
This involves supporting both students and foundation lecturers to ensure a smooth delivery of the programme and that staff and students get the best experience possible.
In her spare time Leah loves meditating, travelling and all things Chinese.
Curriculum Manager
Scott, supports Leah in the management of all Foundation programmes and pathways, providing learner and tutor support throughout the year and convening a number of modules on the Life Sciences and Education courses.
His previous experience includes Programme Leader for HN Sport and Exercise Science at University Centre Colchester in Essex, as well as teaching across a variety of courses in Education, including the BA Education and PGCE in Lifelong Learning. Prior to working in Higher Education, Scott worked in professional sport primarily as a Sport Scientist and Student Placement Supervisor within a Premier League football academy.
Away from Roehampton, Scott enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, keeping active, and going on weekends away (usually as far away from London as possible!)
Short Course Manager
Will manages all the Short Courses that run at the School of Continuing Education.
Will's interests include art, photography, philosophy, teaching and learning, and hobbies are tennis and charity shopping!
Our tutors are passionate in delviering teaching and learning to maximise the potential of all learners.
Lecturer
Charlotte has been with Roehampton since 2019 working on the teacher training programmes and then joining the Foundation team last year.
She has taught extensively for the last 30 years, in schools and in adult education in many different countries.
Outside of work, Charlotte is a student and teacher of yoga as well as an avid theatre goer, enjoying all that London has to offer as often as possible.
Lecturer
Ken has been involved in education for many years. His extensive experience at university level has been as a teacher trainer and as a lecturer in English for Specific/Academic purposes.
Ken is passionate about how and what he teaches, ensuring that students, committed to achieving, do better than they expected.
Ken has many interests, including art, 'antiques', literature and the theatre. His current project is 'restoring' a small Edwardian house in West London.
Business tutor
Keeshon has been teaching at Roehampton University since 2022 and specialises in marekting and busines strategy.
He thoroughly enjoys teaching students from diverse backgrounds on programmes from the School of Continuing Education.
His main hobbies include composing piano pieces, listening to Mandopop and learning Mandarin.
Student Engagement Coach
Karen supports Foundation Year students in whatever way she can.
If you are confused, concerned or feel you have been left behind, Karen is there to help you get back on track.
Karen has worked at Roehampton since September 2022. She has four university-aged children of her own as well as the world’s cutest dog, Waffle.
In her spare time she loves walking, yoga, knitting and all kinds of music and dance.
