George is the University Secretary at Roehampton. In this role, he has responsibility for supporting the University Council and providing independent governance advice to its members. He has management responsibility for the work of the Governance and Legal Office, which includes governance, legal services, regulatory compliance, student casework, criminal convictions, data protection and freedom of information.
George has a PhD in popular music studies from the University of Sheffield and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Brunel University London. He is a member of the Association of Heads of University Administration. George joined the University of Roehampton in 2017.
