Professor Leigh Robinson

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Education)

Professor Leigh Robinson is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education). In her PVC role she is responsible for working with colleagues across the University to ensure that the University provides an exceptional and coherent learning experience and environment, which helps students achieve their academic potential and prepares them for graduate life.

Leigh has a global reputation for her research and knowledge exchange in the development of competitive advantage and capacity building in developing sport nations. She has worked with a range of global sport organisations, such as the International Olympic Committee and the Commonwealth Games Federation. Leigh is a member of the Board of Sport Wales and an advisor to Olympic Solidarity, the education commission of the Olympic Committee.

Prior to joining Roehampton, Leigh was PVC (Partnerships and External Engagement) at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Leigh has also worked at Stirling University in Scotland where she held posts as the Head of the School of Sport and Dean of Internationalisation. Before moving to Stirling in 2010 Leigh was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Loughborough and previously at the University of Sheffield.
