Teaching Timetables

At Roehampton, we want to provide you with the flexibility you need while you study, and the contact time to help you succeed.

Teaching is scheduled across no more than three days each week for the first year of most of our degrees.

From July 2024, we will confirm which days these are so you can plan ahead before term starts in September.

So, if you want to have more focused personal study time, a part-time job, need to balance family commitments, or want to reduce the time you spend commuting, we’re the ideal choice for you.

What our students say

"One of the things that prospective students are often concerned about is whether they will get enough time to work part time while studying. I would say Roehampton made that easy for me. They tend to put lectures in across 2 or 3 days a week which leaves you time to work."

Plan ahead with our teaching timetables

The timetable applies to foundation and undergraduate full-time degrees, with the exception of the following:

  • BSc Adult Nursing
  • BSc Architectural Technology
  • BSc Biological Sciences
  • BSc Children's Nursing
  • BEng Civil Engineering
  • BSc Construction Management
  • BA Education Practice
  • BA Film Production
  • BSc Mental Health Nursing
  • BA Primary Education
  • BSc Zoology

From July 2024, we will aim to confirm which teaching days our foundation and undergraduate courses will be taught each week.

However, due to the facilities required each year, a small number of courses will have their teaching days confirmed later in the year:

  • BSc Computer Science
  • BSc Cyber Security
  • BEng Software Engineering
