Roehampton nominated for ‘HEI Partner of the Year’ for NASBTT Awards

The National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers (NASBTT) are holding their Inaugural Awards to celebrate the achievements of School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) providers and School Direct Lead Schools.

NASBTT is a registered charity committed to promoting high-quality schools-led programmes of training, education and professional development of teachers. We are delighted to announce that NASBTT have nominated and shortlisted Roehampton in the top three for ‘HEI Partner of the Year’.

The ‘HEI Partner of the Year’ recognises university partners who work collegiately with school partners to create genuinely personalised and impactful training programmes.

The University of Roehampton has a proud history in higher education stretching back more than 175 years. Through the oldest of our four Colleges, Whitelands, we have been providing higher education to women for longer than any other university in the country. We are also ranked as the top university in London for Education (Complete University Guide 2020).

The Awards Evening will be taking place on Thursday 11 July at the Union Jack Club in London. Peter Flew, the Director of the School of Education will be attending.
