The School of Education at Roehampton is celebrating a resounding success as it received exceptional scores from the 2023 National Student Survey (NSS) for its Early Childhood Studies programme
The National Student Survey (NSS) gathers students' opinions on the quality of their courses which helps to: inform prospective students' choices, provide data that supports universities to improve the student experience, and support public accountability.
In the 2023 NSS, students enrolled in the Early Childhood Studies programme have expressed high levels of satisfaction in four areas, including: "Teaching on my course", "Learning Opportunities", "Assessment and Feedback" and "Organisation and Management", all achieving an average of 90%.
This not only underscores the programme's effectiveness but also highlights its impact on shaping the experiences and perspectives of those pursuing a career in early childhood education. In addition to academic aspects, the survey also highlighted the programme's innovative teaching methods. By incorporating a variety of pedagogical approaches, including interactive workshops and work placements, the programme caters to all learners. This approach not only enhances understanding but also prepares students for the dynamic and evolving landscape of early childhood education.
