Psychology Short Courses

We offer one of the largest range of therapeutic training courses in the country to give you a strong understanding of the mind, brain and human behaviour, and the complex interactions between them. Courses in the Arts & Play Therapies include: Saturday Introduction days, 5 day Summer Schools, and 20 week part-time evening Foundation Courses.

Arts and Play Therapies short courses

Arts & Play Therapies Introduction Days March 26th (online via Zoom or on campus)

Arts & Play Therapies Summer Schools July 25th-29th on campus. Online course dates to be confirmed.

Arts & Play Therapies Foundation Courses 22nd October 2022 - 18th March 2023

Arts & Play Therapies Foundation Courses 23rd October 2021 - 19th March 2022

(Please note that enrolling on a 20 week Foundation course does not register participants as university students and does not entitle them to stay in university halls of residence).

Due to popularity, places on all of the above are confirmed on a "first paid, first serve basis", and each course going ahead is subject to recruitment. As with all university short courses, the normal minimum age for enrolment is 18.

Please note that the tutors advertised are subject to change.

Short courses and CPD events are not academically or professionally validated, accredited, or approved (unless specifically mentioned) and therefore do not, in themselves, lead to either an academic or professional award. For CPD purposes, participants successfully completing a short-course or CPD event can be awarded a certificate of attendance.
