Psychology Short Courses

We offer one of the largest range of therapeutic training courses in the country to give you a strong understanding of the mind, brain and human behaviour, and the complex interactions between them. Courses in the Arts & Play Therapies include: Saturday Introduction days, 5 day Summer Schools, and 20 week part-time evening Foundation Courses.

Arts and Play Therapies short courses

Arts & Play Therapies Foundation Courses 24th October 2020 - 20th March 2021

At the University of Roehampton the safety of delegates comes first. Information on our measures to ensure this, is available here. We plan to teach our Foundation Courses on campus and online, with some lectures offered solely online. An option to join on campus or remotely will be provided until the on campus capacity has been reached. A detailed programme of each Foundation Course will be given to you prior to joining. Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT): A Research Based Filial Therapy Model (2 day Training)

November 20th -21st 2020 This training in the CPRT model developed by Sue C. Bratton and Garry L. Landreth focuses on the dynamic relationship facets of training parents to be therapeutic agents in their children's lives.

Due to popularity, places on all of the above are confirmed on a "first paid, first serve basis". As with all university short courses, the normal minimum age for enrolment is 18.

Short courses and CPD events are not academically or professionally validated, accredited, or approved (unless specifically mentioned) and therefore do not, in themselves, lead to either an academic or professional award. For CPD purposes, participants successfully completing a short-course or CPD event can be awarded a certificate of attendance.
