- Thursday, April 21, 2022
Internationally recognised expert on behavior change and psychotherapy, Dr John Norcross, is to visit Roehampton for a 3-hour workshop.
‘Psychotherapy Relationships and Responsiveness That Work’ is to be an interactive workshop examining the therapeutic relationship. In the workshop participants will review elements of the therapeutic relationship that enhance treatment success and learn ways to personalise psychotherapy to different clients. Participants will also practice different evidence-based skills that can identify and repair breakdowns in the relationship between client and therapist.
Dr John Norcross is a Distinguished Professor and Chair of Clinical Psychology at the University of Scranton, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and a board-certified clinical psychologist.
