As an ITE trainee, apart from salaried School Direct and SCITT routes, you will need to complete your DBS check before you start school experience. Depending on the number of addresses you have lived at, and if you have spent time overseas, they can take a number of weeks to come through. We highly recommend you apply as early as possible. We would normally invite students onto campus to complete their DBS, but the coronavirus restrictions mean that we will be doing it remotely this year.  Please look out for an email from DBS@roehampton.ac.uk which will give you all the information you need about what to do and the documents you will require.

Lead Partner Salaried students need to contact their school to arrange a DBS check.

There are dining rooms and cafeterias in all of the four colleges: Froebel, Digby Stuart, Southlands and Whitelands. The main Student Union Bar is located in Froebel. There are other bars in Southlands and Whitelands. The student run Hive café in Digby Square is excellent.

On Induction Day and for face-to-face sessions during September, we recommend that you bring your own food and drink if possible. Facilities in Digby and the Hive should be open but we are keen to avoid queues.

Our library which opened in September 2017, is located in Digby Stuart College, close to the university's main entrance. Opening hours vary depending on the time of year, for example the library is open 24 hours a day during revision and exam times. You can find out more about the Library here. All students will get an introductory session to the Library in the first weeks of their course.

Photocopiers / printers are available in the Library and in the Lulham Building's ICT suites. You will need your University ID card to use them.
