The University of Roehampton is offering a £40 travel bursary to support students attending our Undergraduate Open Days and Taster Days.
Please check that you meet the criteria, and if so, apply using the form below. Applicants who meet the criteria will only be eligible if they provide all details within one month of the date of the event. After you've attended the event, the bursary will be paid into your bank account.

Eligibility Criteria
You must meet all essential criteria:
- Home students currently residing in the UK
- Studying at a state-funded school or college
- Registered for an offer holder event or open day
- Live more than 2 miles walking distance from the University of Roehampton
You must meet at least one of the following additional criteria:
- Care experienced students, including those with foster carers under local authority care, residing in residential children's homes, being looked after at home under a supervision order, or living with friends or relatives in kinship care
- Estranged students
- Young carers
- Forced migrants, including refugees, asylum seekers, and those awarded Humanitarian protection, Limited Leave to Remain, or Discretionary Leave to Remain in the UK
- Adult learners, i.e., students starting their first degree over the age of 21
- Gypsy, Roma, Irish Traveller, Showperson, or Boater students
- Students in receipt of free school meals within the last six years
- Students in receipt of a 16-19 bursary
- Students from areas of multiple deprivation (You can check your postcodes index of multiple deprivation data using this online look up tool. Your postcode must show a 1 or 2 in column F to be eligible)
- Students from low participation neighbourhoods (You can check whether you live in a low participation neighbourhood using this online postcode look up tool. Your post code must be say quintile 1 against POLAR 4 to be eligible. See table on map.)
