Our specialist Nutrition and Health facilities are based at Whitelands College, a beautiful listed building next to Richmond Park.
We have computer suites which you can use 24-hours a day, as well as dedicated computing stations for data processing and analysis for students and staff undertaking research.
Whatever course you join, you will also have access to our University Library, which was opened in 2017 and is one of the best in London.

We have a range of well-equipped laboratory facilities. These include a food laboratory, complete with sensory analysis tasting booths and a clinical suite for dietary intervention studies.
We have suites for tissue culture and a range of test facilities for nutritional and biochemical analysis. These include high specification liquid chromatography systems, flow cytometry, ELISA and fluorescent plate readers and in vitro imaging systems for immuno-histochemistry, immunofluorescence microscopy and quantitative microscopy. We have specifically designated laboratories for work with radioactive isotopes and in vitro gut fermentation model systems to study interaction between food and the gut microbiota.
