Dr. Andrew Rogers is the principal investigator on this interdisciplinary exploration of confession of sin across church traditions, as well as beyond the church. Phase 1 of the project aims to reflect theologically on practices of confession within charismatic evangelical networks in the UK, mainly informed by interviews with network leaders . The main output from this phase is a special issue of Religions. The project is currently in phase 2, where it will expand to explore the practices of confession amongst Christian congregants from a range of congregations as well as from those of no religious tradition.
