Research Centre for Equality, Justice and Social Change

Purpose

The Centre for Equality, Justice and Social Change (CEJSC) is interdisciplinary research connected by our commitment to social justice and social change.

Drawing on a multidisciplinary team of sociologists, criminologists, social anthropologists and socio-legal scholars, we conduct high-quality research to address pressing issues on a range of subjects, including on gender and sexuality, crime and violence, education and citizenship, and migration and human rights.

We actively seek to develop and engage networks of collaborators who align with our mission, to shape our research and its policy and practice implications. We are committed to making positive change in our local, regional and national context, and work with a range of organisations to do this.

CEJSC welcomes researchers and partners in the disciplines of social science and socio-legal research whose research has an impact and enables positive change in the world.
