Research in Social and Psychological Transformation (CREST)

We are internationally recognised for our research activity in the field of psychological therapies

Our research focuses on interventions and methods that support the enhancement of psychological and social wellbeing, as well as processes at the interface between the psychological and social domains.

The work of the area is organised around four themes in which researchers have achieved international prominence:

  • Making shared decisions with clients and personalisation
  • Working with voices, visions, and continuing presence
  • Empowering children and young people
  • Engaging with death, dying, and bereavement

We have our own therapy clinic based at the Whiteland campus.
