Purpose
The research centre conducts cutting edge and impactful multi-disciplinary research on how to reduce inequalities in the education system with the aim to strengthen democracy and social cohesion.
The research projects in the centre are mixed methods and comparative across countries with a focus on young people, Life Skills, Citizenship Education and Democratic Competences.
The centre works with education practitioners, civil society, international organisations and policymakers to create meaningful and evidence-based change to secure the future of democracy and social cohesion more broadly.
