Law School

A friendly, diverse community that values social justice, teamwork and our local community.

Intro

From day one you’ll be thinking like a lawyer.

Designed by experienced academics and practitioners, with input from our internationally renowned Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice, our degrees will encourage you to see law in the context of everyday life right from the start.

We will offer you a practice-based approach to learning: you'll train face-to-face with leading legal experts and academics to help you secure a sustainable legal career in a rapidly changing world.

You will be encouraged to engage with legal issues and be given opportunities to gain real-world legal experience through pro-bono placements in partnership with Citizens’ Advice or our Law Clinic.

You can practice your legal skills in our mock courtroom - a great opportunity to enhance your debating skills and knowledge of law, and to present your own cases in the roles of judges, appellants and respondents.
