Student Wellbeing Officers

Your Wellbeing Officer is your first contact for any doubt or question around wellness resources or issues. They can refer and signpost you to a range of support services both within the University and externally, depending on your needs and specific context.

As well as 1:1 appointments, the Wellbeing Officers offer several 15-minute quick query appointments, which are available to be booked (from 48 hours in advance, and up to 15 minutes in advance on the same day). These appointments run every weekday (Monday - Friday, apart from public holidays) and are held remotely, either through a telephone call or over the Microsoft Teams platform

You can book a quick query with them to have a brief conversation and see what next steps can be most helpful. You can also contact them by emailing SouthlandsWellbeing@roehampton.ac.uk.

Wardens

College wardens are postgraduate students residing on campus, who work closely with your college team, to make sure you are supported in your college community.

College wardens provide out-of-hours wellbeing support when there is an emergency or crisis, if needed.

You can speak to the wardens by calling security on ext.3333 using an internal phone, or call directly only 0208 392 3333.

At Southlands, your college warden will support you alongside your flat reps, SCCLs and others in the team, to make sure you feel listened to, safe, looked after, get on well with others and follow the student code of conduct.
