Undergraduate Dance at Roehampton

Our London campus puts you in easy reach of world-class dance venues and research libraries. On campus, Roehampton Dance has the facilities to back up its strengths in academic, practical and vocational dance learning. We are equipped with four beautiful studios dedicated to Dance.

You'll have access to the perfect mix of traditional and new ways of learning, and will be able to take advantage of cutting-edge technology for sound and video recording and dance-computer interaction while having access to one of the finest dance libraries in the country, which holds more than 52,000 books, journals and videos.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work with fellow students to curate and produce our annual dance festival, Footprint; and to lead or perform in our student-led dance company, Third Row.

24/7 support

As a Roehampton student, you will have access to our 24/7 student support service, Nest. The friendly team will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns - from accommodation issues to wellbeing queries - in person or online.

We also offer bepsoke study, careers, wellbeing and financial support, all designed to suit your needs. This includes mental health support, professional counselling, an on-campus medical centre, a multi-faith chaplaincy, as well as online resources available. Find out about our support

Cost of Living

We know that the cost of living is a concern so we're committed ensuring there is a range of support available to you. Almost all our courses are taught on no more than three days per week, so you still get loads of contact time with your lecturers, plus time for part-time work, family commitments and internships.

Travelling to us

Whether you're living on or off-campus, you'll be able to make use of our free student-only bus service which runs between Putney Bridge, Barnes Station, our campus and Wimbledon.

We also offer free on-campus parking to our students and are one of the first London universities to do so.
