Employability
In addition to what you’ll study in your degree, you’ll have access to a range of extra events and opportunities throughout your time with us.
We host regular guest lectures and professional bodies in business and you will have the opportunity to participate in national and international business competitions. We'll also help you to increase your employability through our annual Business Readiness modules.
As our courses are taught over no more than three days per week, you'll have the flexibility to take on paid part-time work, placements, or internships - gaining real-world experience before you graduate.
Career skills and development are built into our degrees, allowing you to reach your full potential and ambitions. All our undergraduate courses also offer you the option of taking a professional placement year.
Our careers support team is available to support you from the start of your studies until after you graduate. They will help you build your CV, prepare for interviews, and meet and learn from successful graduates working at the top of their careers.
Facilities
You’ll be based in our historic Southlands College.
You will study in the Queen's building which is located in the heart of our green campus and right next to our world-class library.
Here you’ll learn in modern teaching rooms, large lecture theatres and computer rooms, plus there’s also plenty of communal areas for you to relax and meet with friends in between lectures too.
You’ll have access to high-spec facilities, like our Business Laboratory and Bloomberg Trading Room. In our Esports Arena, you can relax after lectures, compete in national tournaments, or learn how to create content.
