Composer-in-residence at the Chelsea Physic Garden, Dr. Helen Anahita Wilson, leads this unique short course opportunity exploring intersections of nature, sound, and music.
In this course, you will learn how to integrate natural sounds and biological data into your creative practices through activities including field recording, soundwalking, biodata collection, and interspecies collaboration.
You will have the chance to create both solo and group projects, while exploring the principles of sustainability and ethical practice in response to the climate emergency.
This course encourages new creative paths in biophilic music and sonic arts, fostering innovation and a deeper connection to the natural world.
