Coming along to a open day is the first step towards starting your future career. To help make sure you get the most out of your visit, here's our top five tips:
Think about what you really want to know, is there something specific you'd like more information on? A module you'd like to know more about, what career you could get after you graduate or how you'll afford to pay for your studies.
Whatever the question, write it down so you don't forget! You can always take notes on the day.
Think about how you want to spend the day with us. What talks do you want to attend? Is there a support team you need to chat with? Would you like to take a tour of the campus and facilities?
We usually publish the itinerary a few days before the day. If you're registered, we will email it to you.
Our student ambassadors are current students and will be on hand to chat to you throughout the day about anything. You can ask them what their favourite spots on campus are or what advice they would give you about being a new student.
What better way to remember the day and experience, than to take notes and even photos!
Why not see what local shops and places to eat are near to campus, you could even visit Putney or Richmond?
How do I book?
We list all our upcoming open days on our website.
Once you've booked your place, you'll receive an email with your ticket attached. You'll just need to show this to us on the day.
Where can I view the itinerary?
We normally add the itinerary to the event page a few days before the day. If you''re registered we will email you to let you know.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course, you can bring up to two guests with you.
Do I need to be there when it starts?
No, you can arrive and leave when you want. Make sure you view the itinerary to see what is happening throughout the day, so you can plan!
I need additional assistance
If you have any accessibility requirements that mean you need additional arrangements, like reserving a disabled parking space, get in touch.
Is it free to attend?
Yes, completely free (we will also give you a free lunch voucher) - you just need to register.
Alongside coming to an open day, you could get to know us better by joining us at a webinar or taking a virtual tour of our campus!
Our webinars are the ideal opportunity to get all the information you need for studying with us.
If you can't make an open day, we run guided campus tours with our student ambassadors throughout the year.
