Sport at Southlands

There are lots of opportunities for taking part in sports at Roehampton and specifically at Southlands College.

For more information about sport at the University, visit:

Southlands has pockets of spaces that we creatively and dynamically offer for social sport. This has included frisbee in the Quad, E-Sport in Queens Building, pop-up badminton in Chapman Hall, as well as table-tennis tournaments in The Reef. We also offer more relaxed physical activities such as Yoga and Pilates.

Each week, posters and fliers will also be put up around college with information about events taking place. Pick one up from Reception, The Reef, or the College Community Hub at QB010.

If you enjoy playing and watching football, then we encourage anyone to get involved with the college teams. There is no skill level required and anyone can come to training. We are looking to build our team but more importantly a community of friends. Being part of a team or society will enhance your University experience so why not make it Southlands College FC or the Southlands Sharkettes. Please get in touch with us if you are interested. Join the Southlands Sharks FC Facebook group.

A variety of pop-up sport is held in the Quad, including badminton and football

Sport for women is held at Southlands, including badminton, boxing and yoga!

The Reef is a social space and offers an opportunity to eat, drink, study and unwind over a game of table-tennis

The E-Sports department hosted a Beat Saber VR tournament, in The Reef
