The Health, Safety and Welfare Committee advises the Finance and Resources Committee, the Executive Board and thereafter Council on all matters concerning the health, safety and welfare of University staff, students and those who might be affected by any undertaking of the University. The Committee has responsibility for monitoring and advising in relation to the University’s compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental legislation and the general management of health, safety and welfare at the University.
