Where you'll be learning

Based across the Clinical Simulation Centre at Froebel College and the Mary Seacole Health Innovation Centre, our specialist nursing facilities provide realistic healthcare environments where you can develop the confidence, competence and clinical skills needed for professional practice. From simulated hospital wards and patient homes to advanced healthcare technology, you'll gain hands-on experience before applying your learning on placement.

  • Practise clinical skills and health assessment skills in the Froebel Ward, a fully equipped six-bed hospital ward designed to replicate real healthcare environments.
  • Develop confidence in realistic patient care simulation scenarios using high-tech patient simulators, role players, service users and carers.
  • Learn in mock consulting rooms, simulated patient homes and a purpose-built apartment that reflect the diverse settings nurses work in today, including community healthcare environments.
  • Use advanced video-supported learning technology, allowing you to review your performance and receive detailed feedback on your clinical practice.
  • Train in the Mary Seacole Health Innovation Centre, a specialist facility focused on primary and community healthcare, equipped with modern simulation and healthcare technologies.
  • Access specialist facilities beyond timetabled teaching, giving you additional opportunities to practise and refine your skills in a safe learning environment.

You'll speak to one of our friendly Admissions Advisers who are there to help you and answer any questions. 

When you call, please have the following information ready:

  • Your UCAS ID number if you have one. (Don't worry, we can help you even if you are not already in the UCAS system)
  • A list of your qualifications (including GCSEs) and the grades you achieved in each
  • The name of the course you are interested in

We'll ask you for the information above and then will let you know if we can make you an offer. 

At this stage, offers will be conditional and will only be confirmed once you have added a Clearing choice in UCAS or made a direct application and met your conditions.

Flexible offer-making - we will consider your wider circumstances in considering your offer. We accept a wide range of qualifications including BTEC qualifications, A-levels, and T-levels and will offer flexibility depending on your wider circumstances. We welcome applications from students of all ages and backgrounds.

Remember, we will only be able to help you if you already have all your results.

Please note that any offer made is subject to our student contract.

We'll send you a provisional offer email which will have details of the next steps – make sure you keep an eye out for it!

We'll have rooms available for you in our on-campus accommodation. If you accept your offer by Thursday 11 Septmeber, we can guarantee you a place.
