Roehampton’s School of Psychology has partnered with Holybourne Hospital, part of the Active Care Group, to provide staff from their multi-disciplinary team with arts-based reflective practice groups as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.
Dr Yannis Fronimos, Dean of the School of Psychology (left), Dr Jonathan Isserow, Head of Community Engagement, School of Psychology (right) and Ashleigh Gonsalves, Head of Therapy at Holybourne Hospital (centre), met to mark the new partnership.
Holybourne Hospital colleagues, within their multi-disciplinary team, will be invited to participate in two arts-based reflected practice groups within Roehampton’s School of Psychology. Each group will separately draw on art therapy and music therapy processes as an alternate means to explore, think through and be supported around work-based practice.
Dr Yannis Fronimos, Dean of the School of Psychology said: "We are delighted to be collaborating with Holybourne Hospital. Utilising our well-established knowledge and expertise to support services and our communities, lies at the heart of our Knowledge Exchange strategy.
"We very much look forward to this partnership, offering to clinical teams creative ways to reflect on their clinical practice and to supporting their continuous professional development."
