The Faculty of Business and Law is pleased to announce the appointment of two Honorary Professors to the Roehampton Business School - Professor Malcolm McDonald and Professor Miranda Brawn.
Professor Malcolm McDonald is a recognised global authority in marketing (academic research and professional practice), and listed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing as one of the fifty people who have changed the world of marketing. In addition, The Times newspaper named him as one of Britain’s top ten management consultants.
Professor McDonald has been a key influencer in the development of marketing education, and is the author of 87 scholarly papers and 46 books, one of which – on Marketing Plans - has sold over half a million copies worldwide. He is on the editorial board of a number of top journals and reviews scholarly papers for these journals.
Malcolm has taught on some of the world’s top MBA programmes, and spent much of his time working with the operating boards of the world’s biggest multinational companies, including IBM, Xerox and BP, in most countries of the world, including Japan, USA, Europe, South America, and Australasia.
Professor Miranda Brawn, a recipient of numerous awards and honorary titles including Dr, Esq, MBA, PgDip, MCSI and FRSA, was named "Woman of the Year" in the 2019 Women in Finance Awards. With a twenty-year legacy as a global advocate for diversity, inclusion, and sustainability, she serves on influential boards across healthcare, finance, technology, and charity sectors. Her innovative thinking and positive energy impact strategic decisions and public policy for many people. Formerly a senior visiting fellow at Oxford University, she authored "The Brawn Review" on boardroom sustainability while completing her first book. Her background as a financial executive, international speaker, and founder of The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation showcases her commitment to nurturing future leaders, earning recognition worldwide.
