This report evaluates the impact of a pilot project to create a new 'communiversity' for the residents of Roehampton's Alton Estate, still awaiting a long-promised regeneration. Coordination for the project began in July 2021 and the pilot phase finished on December 15th. A team consisting of members of the local council, Roehampton University staff and Fabric Space Architecture created a set of mobile physical units and an organisational blueprint for a sustainable, networked ecosystem of resident-led cultural micro-projects. The physical 'strange attractors' - co-designed, mobile, street-level, R&D offerings, invited engagement in the Alton's underused outdoor and community spaces.
