Join Roehampton and we will make sure, from your first year with us, that you will be given the opportunity to build important career skills and gain work experience, to help you in whatever career you go on to after graduation.
New for this term - an eight week virtual programme of events, one to one sessions and videos to help boost your skills, build your CV, meet employers and help you find employment. The Summer Careers Programme runs from May 4th - events to be added daily so keep checking on Careerlink for more information.
All of our courses are designed with the job market in mind. Whatever you study, you’ll get to learn the skills that employers value. Many of our courses also offer work placements and guest lectures and talks from industry experts.
You will be enrolled onto Careerlink, our fantastic online careers resource exclusively for Roehampton students and graduates, giving you access to a CV builder, interactive mock job interviews, volunteering and jobs directories, online skills courses and much more.
You can also join our Career Mentoring Scheme, which links students with an experienced Roehampton graduate. We have mentors working in a huge range of different careers, all over the world. They’ll share their experiences with you, and help you build your professional networks: you may even get to meet someone you’ll go on to work with after you graduate.
We’ve got an onsite recruitment agency, URJobs, to help you find part-time work while you are studying with us, and full-time placements afterwards.
We also organise practical workshops covering CV writing, making job applications and more. We provide drop-in sessions in our Careers Service, if you want one-to-one support.
Finally, you can spend a semester overseas on our Study Abroad programmes; choose from countries across Europe, and places further field like the USA. You can also learn a new language via our Languages for All courses.
