What our students say

"I received valuable advice about career options and how to write job applications. The mock interview was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend the service to other students."

Careerlink provides access to a CV builder, interactive mock job interviews, volunteering and jobs directories, online skills courses and much more.

Handshake

Handshake is an online platform and mobile app that connects students to the top employers in the country to help them secure their dream job after graduation.

Handshake is the chosen Careers Services platform by University of Roehampton, it allows students to search for up to hundreds of graduate employment opportunities and enables students to access Careers Services support. Search for ‘Handshake’ in the App Store or Google Play or visit app.joinhandshake.co.uk

URJobs

Our onsite recruitment agency, URJobs, helps students find part-time work while studying with us. URJobs advertise on campus roles such as student ambassadors, careers interns, conference hosts and call campaign jobs.

These jobs support students to gain valuable work experience to add to their CV and provide financial stability whilst studying.

One of the things that prospective students are often concerned about is whether they will get enough time to work part-time while studying. I would say that Roehampton made that easy for me. They tend to put lectures in across 2 or 3 days a week which leaves you time to work. I work as a Student Ambassador, and it’s a flexible role that I can fit around my schedule. You can work whenever you want and whenever you are available.’ Yasamin, BSc Biomedical Sciences student
