Careers in clinical and therapeutic practice

• Counselling Psychologist & Psychotherapist: Provides high-level psychological therapy to individuals or groups to treat mental health conditions and emotional distress
• Creative Arts Therapist (Drama, Art, & Play): Uses creative mediums to help clients, particularly children, express and process trauma or developmental challenges
• High Intensity & Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner: Delivers evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, for people with common mental health problems like anxiety and depression, often within the NHS
• Assistant Psychologist: Works under the supervision of a Chartered Psychologist to carry out assessments, research, and clinical tasks
• CAMHS Practitioner: Specialises in providing mental health support and clinical interventions specifically for children and adolescents.

Careers in mental health and community support

• Crisis & Hospital Intervention Worker: Provides immediate, short-term support to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency to ensure their safety

• SENDCO: Manages the support and legal requirements for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
