Enrolment and induction

We’ll send you important information about registration, enrolment, and your arrival closer to the start of term. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from our Registry team.

Your Roehampton experience begins with induction, designed to help you settle in, meet new people and feel confident from the start. You’ll get to know your course, explore campus, and find out everything you need to succeed. Freshers' also runs alongside induction, run by Roehampton's Students' Union - it's a great place to pick up freebies, sign up to societies and clubs and meet people.

Curious about life at Roehampton? Connect with students on your course and meet others who may be living in your halls.

Living on campus

Moving into halls is exciting and slightly nerve-racking. Syed, an international student, found settling into a new environment a challenge at first, but living on campus made it so much easier.

Finances

We offer some of the most generous financial support packages in London, including help with the cost of living and commuting to campus and scholarships that recognise your achievements.

Undergraduate student funding and scholarships

Government support

NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF) - a training grant of £5,000 per academic year if you're studying nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.

Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) - additional support to help you study at university.

Student finance

If you normally live in England, you can apply for student finance – and if you haven’t already, it’s important to do this as soon as possible. You can apply for both a Tuition Fee Loan and a Maintenance Loan. Your Tuition Fee Loan is paid directly to us, while your Maintenance Loan helps with living costs.

To apply, simply set up an online account on the Student Finance England website. They’ll do their best to make sure you receive your funding as close as possible to the start of your course in autumn 2026.

If you’ve already applied but have changed your course or university, you’ll need to update your details in your account.

Calculate your loan

We do have a student finance support team who are available to offer advice if you need it, email studentfunding@roehampton.ac.uk.

Work part-time

With our on-campus recruitment agency, URJobs, finding part-time work is simple. Whether you work as a Student Ambassador, career intern, research assistant or conference host, you’ll build experience, boost your income and connect with others across the university.

Cost of living support

We're committed to providing you with the support you need. We don't want you to worry about how you'll afford your studies.
