There is so much for you to explore at our open evening.

Throughout the event our current students, academics and support teams will be on hand to answer any questions you have.

Registration opens at 3pm. When you arrive at our main campus, please head to the library to register.

Please note photography and videography will be taking place at the event. The images and footage will be used for marketing future events on our digital and print advertising. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of staff when you arrive.

Are you interested in a fully-funded PhD? 
 
This talk will introduce you to three key funding competitions at Roehampton:
 
  • The Leverhulme Connected Waters Doctoral Programme, supporting interdisciplinary projects exploring the impact of human activity on fresh water ecology
  • The South and East Network for Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership (SENSS) student-led competition offering PhD funding in social sciences disciplines, including Business and Management Studies, Communications, Culture and Media Studies, Education, Law, Psychology and Sociology
  • Consortium for Researching Inclusive Cultures in the Arts (CRICA), supporting doctoral projects exploring inclusive practices and cultures in participatory and performing arts.
 
The presentation will explain the schemes, what you need to include within your application to be considered for funding.
 
These funding opportunities are for doctoral study beginning in October 2026.
 
Current Roehampton doctoral students may also be eligible to apply, depending on the competition and the time remaining on their PhD.

Please come to the registration desks outside the Library and a member of staff will assist you.

If you'd prefer to walk from Barnes Station, our main campus is about 15 minutes away.

You can walk to Whitelands College (Holybourne Avenue, SW15 4JD) from main campus, it takes about 12 minutes.

We have free parking available on campus. 

Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our address is University of Roehampton, Roehampton Lane, London, SW15 5PU.

When you arrive at the main entrance, you will be given a permit to display in your car.
