You will develop the qualities – creativity, adaptability and confidence – that will help prepare you for your career and the workplace of tomorrow.

You will have opportunities throughout your studies to join one of our thriving student societies, play sport and music, volunteer, and make the most of your time with us.

Our 9,000 students, who come from all over the world, create a friendly community where you will feel welcome. At Roehampton you are valued as an individual. You will get to know our staff and they will understand how best to support you. Throughout your studies, you will have a personal tutor, and all our academic staff are here to help you succeed.

We also have a wide range of support services that you can use from your first day onwards, including financial guidance, wellbeing support, and access to our careers service and work experience opportunities. When you graduate, you will join our global alumni network, who will be there for you throughout your career, helping you to build the connections you need to succeed.

London's campus university

Our parkland campus is in south-west London, close to Putney, Hammersmith and Wimbledon, and within easy reach of central London. Studying with us will give you the best of both worlds: the community feel of a traditional university campus, with the culture and nightlife of one of the greatest cities in the world.

We have first-rate facilities, including modern teaching rooms and, in our view, the best university library in London. The campus helps create a close-knit community that will help you feel at home.

Research that changes the world and helps you learn

At Roehampton, we develop ideas that help us to understand our world. With international reach, our research informs policy, enriches culture and improves people’s lives.

When you join us, you will be taught by experts right from your first year of study. Our staff carry out world-class research, from discovering new animal species to uncovering evidence about human history.

A rich heritage in education

We have a proud history in higher education stretching back more than 175 years. Through the oldest of our four Colleges, Whitelands, we have been providing higher education to women for longer than any other university in the country.

Our values come from this rich history, built on community, engagement and partnership, with a belief that no matter your background, we can help you realise your ambitions. Our Colleges contribute to the friendly, welcoming community that makes Roehampton unique in London.
