The Roehampton MSc Global Marketing equips you with expertise in contemporary marketing theory and practice. You will be introduced to the strategic, financial and operational context of brand management and digital marketing within an increasingly data-driven marketing context.

As part of this degree you will have the opportunity to sign up for the Global Leaders Programme, which will expand your skillset enabling you to bring innovative perspectives that will help organisations succeed in a complex, dynamic global environment. You will learn to communicate your vision effectively to a wider audience and engage with a range of professional perspectives.

This programme is tailored to students with the ambition to become leaders and practitioners at the interface of marketing and strategy, and upon graduation you be able to demonstrate to potential employers your intellectual curiosity, ambition and desire to enter careers in marketing management, strategy or branding for large corporations and SMEs that operate globally. The programme also benefits from our academic staff’s expertise of branding as well as their links with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and other external bodies and stakeholders.

You will develop expertise in contemporary strategic areas of branding, digital marketing and emerging fields of marketing.

The programme also introduces you to major business functions including strategy, financial performance management, global and cross-cultural dimensions of managing organisations, and responsible leadership. Additionally, our research methods module will equip you with the knowledge and techniques needed to pursue empirical and conceptual work of academic rigour, real world impact and industry relevance alike.

The final project, in which you can choose to complete either a dissertation, consultancy project or internship report, gives you the opportunity to focus on a topic that is best aligned with your research interests and future career aspirations.

The course is designed to resonate with people from a variety of backgrounds, so you don’t need to have a specific area of academic experience or particular work experience.
