Roehampton Contextual Offer Scheme for UK students

When we consider applications to study with us, we form a complete view of your achievements to date, and future potential.

Our Contextual Offer scheme is a route to undergraduate study for talented students, whose personal circumstances may have impacted upon their achievements at school or college. The scheme enables us to offer some flexibility in our entry requirements, and we hope it will encourage talented students to be more confident about applying to study a degree at Roehampton.

If you're applying to start your degree with us, you may be eligible for a contextual offer*. A Contextual Offer is more flexible than our typical offer shown on our course webpages.

We will take contextual information into account to form a complete view of your attainment to date and future potential, which we will use when we assess your application to study with us. We consider a wide range of qualifications when making offers to students, inlcuding BTECs, A-levels, T-levels and Access to HE qualifications, as well as professional experience.

Eligibility

We will assess several factors as part of considering your eligibility for the Contextual Offer Scheme, and these will include:

  • Data on progression to higher education by geographical region
  • Whether the school or college at which you are studying is an aspiring school
  • If you have experience within the care system
  • If you have a disability
  • If you are a refugee or asylum seeker
  • If you are known to have been eligible for free school meals in the previous six years

*Nursing and teacher-training degrees are not included in the scheme but applicants for these courses will have their wider circumstances considered
