If you are a new student, you can book a room with us by creating an account in the portal and applying for accommodation. You can book a room with us as soon as your have a Firm offer from the University. You will need a Roehampton ID to do this. If you do not have this, please contact the team.
If you are a student returning to us, log into the portal and book your accommodation.
Choosing where you live
When you apply you will select your room preferences. Our team will then make room allocations based on your room and college choices. You have the option to apply to live students who have an interest in quieter, more study focused accommodation. Students living in these areas would prefer to live a more moderated lifestyle in respect of alcohol, parties and noise. You do not need to live in silence or alcohol free, but we hope having this option means we can more effectively match likeminded people with other likeminded people. Whilst we will do our best to accommodation this choice, it is based on available bed spaces so cannot provide a guarantee.
To book a room you will require a deposit of £250.
We have a risk free booking policy. If you do not start your course or do not receive your visa we will refund you your deposit and release you from any agreements.
The deposit will be returned within 4 weeks of the end of your contract. There can be deductions from the deposit in the event of damage caused or recovery of owed rents.
Accommodation fees are paid in three instalments. These have been arranged at the start of every term after you have received your student loan (UK student loan). If you have any concerns with payment or the instalment dates please speak to our accommodation finance team.
Payment dates for the academic year 2023/24 are:
