Martin has had a 40+ year career in marketing, strategic consulting and finance, principally around the consumer goods industry.
At the start of his career, Martin was running focus groups on cereal bars. By its end, he was a highly-rated equity analyst in the City of London, authoring investment research on the likes of Nestlé and Unilever.
He is now an advisor to major consumer goods and asset management firms.
Martin has a strong focus on financial sustainability, allied to a strong commitment to addressing intergenerational inequality. Alongside Roehampton, he is a Trustee of EdAct, a Multi-Academy Trust in a deprived area of North East London. He has previously served as a Governor & Audit Chair at London Business School.
Martin joined the Council at Roehampton in 2026.
