A warm welcome to our January* starters
* February for our BSc Adult Nursing students
We're delighted you chose to study at Roehampton and look forward to welcoming you into our university community.
These are the pages that will contain everything new undergraduate and postgraduate taught students need to know about starting at Roehampton and the orientation activities available to you. If you are a postgraduate research student, please see here for what you need to do before you arrive on campus.
On 5 January we updated the joining information for January and February starters in the light of recent changes to coronovirus restrictions. Please view these updates on the student portal. Please also visit our dedicated webpages if you would like more information on how we are protecting our community from coronavirus.
What do I need to do first?
There are a number of things that you need to do before you arrive on campus.
- Complete your online enrolment. The first and most important step is to fully enrol. You will need your login details for this, which were sent to you. Once enrolled you can access your Moodle (online learning platform).
- Module selection - once this is completed and has been approved by your department, you will then be able to use Moodle. A useful video explaining how Moodle works is available to watch here.
- Your teaching timetable will be available on the student portal once you have had your module selection approved and you have been allocated to teaching sessions. Most teaching starts online on 18 January (not BSc Adult Nursing).
If you need help with module selection or timetable, please visit the Academic Services pages on the student portal, where you will find details of how to contact your academic department.
- Look at the reading list for your programme. You'll find selected texts for all our degrees, offering you a valuable insight into your subject as you embark on your study programme.
- Download our app. It's easy to use and features maps to help you find your way around our campuses.
