Congratulations on your successful application for the Secondary PGCE course with the University of Roehampton for 2025 - 2026
Our secondary teacher training programmes have been rated “Good” by Ofsted for overall effectiveness, quality of education and training, and leadership. You’re joining a programme with over 185 years of experience in preparing teachers, supported by tutors who are experts in their subjects, active researchers, and experienced classroom practitioners.

Teachers media is a collection of teaching-related videos on YouTube, covering a range of secondary lessons, so have a look and search for your subject or specific areas of interest like behaviour management. It's an excellent resource for PGCE students in the lead up to their course, and particularly in preparation for your first classroom placements.

The course starts on Monday 1st September, and you must be in the country to attend Induction on Wednesday 3rd September. If you need to sort out flights, accommodation, and visas, this must be completed in time for you to start on the 2nd of September.
